Third grade kindness project
Third graders at a school in Cleveland, Ohio kicked off the near year by writing kindness pledges and painting kindness rocks. Their pledges highlighted ways the students vowed to be kind to our planet and ways to be kind in their community, at school and at home. Their painted rocks included encouraging words and reminders to “be kind!” Their rocks have IDs from GoRock.com, so they’ll soon be able to see on a map where their rocks travel and make others smile.
Welcome new members!
This week’s new GoRock members are from all over the world – 🇺🇸 the United States (Oregon, Virginia, Florida, New York, Ohio, Nevada and California), 🇦🇺 Australia and 🇬🇧 the UK. We are enjoying the rock creations you’ve added to GoRock.com and can’t wait to see where they will travel!
If you ever needed another reminder for why we paint rocks and set them out for others to find, read these messages from the ones who have found our rocks.
“The moment I found this rock was so special to me. It spoke so loud!”
Last found: Eureka Springs, Arkansas, USA
“This is my very first Rock!”
Last found: Chinchilla QLD, Australia
As we do every Friday, we’re featuring rocks from our GoRock members. Be inspired and paint some of your own rocks!
Once again, we have so many new rocks that have been painted and added to GoRock.com – too many to individually feature here. But, here are some of our favorites! (See them all here).
Nice work painters! Smile knowing your rocks are out there unexpectedly brightening someone else’s day.
Is less screen time for the kids on your list of New Year’s resolutions?
